Myth 1: You need to eat less to lose weight
This myth exists because women who competed in bodybuilding or fitness did that back in the day. But, this is not necessary to lose weight. You simply need to eat differently to achieve your weight loss goals. Today, our female clients (who are mostly moms) start their weight loss journey consuming 1500 to 2000 calories and still manage to lose weight.

Myth 2: You need to eliminate carbs or do Keto
Carbs are not the enemy. Carbs are very important when it comes to fueling your body for intense work. People think that eliminating carbs will help in weight loss. But, the real truth is that you need to reduce your calories which makes you lose weight. My clients have carbs like bread, pasta, etc., and are still losing weight. They just have these foods in moderation.

Myth 3: You need to do a lot of cardio or exercise to lose weight
A lot of people believe this myth because it is easier to do than controlling calories. If you focus on controlling your calorie intake 80% to 90% of the time, you will hit your goals much sooner. Exercise only preserves and builds muscle tissue. But being in a caloric deficit is what is going to put your body in a state to lose body fat.
